I'll admit that winter isn't my favorite, but God I'll admit that winter isn't my favorite, but God knows I need it. I find rest in doing the dishes at a slower place, changing out a centerpiece, reading a book, cleaning a closet and naps in front of the fire place. How will you rest this weekend?
Spring is coming and we would love to rummage thro Spring is coming and we would love to rummage through your old dusty barns! Families have had so much when we come to the farm and look for old farm goods to reclaim. We clean up as we go and enjoy sharing the memories from times past.

With the price of eggs, we are all going to need o With the price of eggs, we are all going to need one of these! When we first moved to the R7 homestead we tried chickens a few times, but I had NO idea what I was doing. In my mind I could just give them a little shed and some food and all would be well. 

After two rounds of chickens missing or killed by predators I gave up. There was one rooster who would hang out in the pine trees taunting us, but he Share your best chicken stories or advice and then come back next week and I'll share my best use for egg baskets. 

Hint: It's not eggs. Or at least not yet....
